Jiading Gongjiao, one of Shanghai’s most important public transport systems, commissioned A.E. Smith to create a new brand identity.

A.E. Smith was tasked with providing all-around branding services, including designing a new logo, visual identity and colour coding for vehicles, as well as standardising design for the stations. The overall design theme was ‘The Chinese class is the World’s class’ and used combinations of modern logo styles and traditional Chinese characters, creating an impressive brand design which fulfils the lofty vision of Jiading Gongjiao.
