On October 24th 2007, IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) announced a worldwide re-launch of the Holiday Inn brand family, which comprises the Holiday Inn® and Holiday Inn Express brands. Holiday Inn made dramatic changes to its signage, evolving the iconic script logo, famous holiday green and registered trademark. Over 11 thousand inns replaced their signage around the world. Besides, the new brand was applied to the design elements of more than 3,000 hotel lobbies and 400,000 rooms. A.E. Smith was invited to participate in this brand re-launch program. For a decade, IHG has been a loyal client and partner of A.E. Smith.
